Here are a few steps for animating an image in the After Effects
1- Import the image into After Effects by clicking in the project panel and choose the file of the image that you want to import then import it.
2- Create a new composition, you will see in the top tap composition click on it then new composition and make your settings on it.
3- Drag and drop the image to the timeline to create a layer.
4- Set keyframes for properties (position, scale, opacity, rotation) by clicking the stopwatch icon that you will see next to the properties.
5- Move the timeline indicator, adjust properties, and After Effects create keyframes automatically and move the image that you want to the position (in my example i used position). then you will see line between the first position and the second.
6-Preview animation with the "Ram Preview" button.
7-Fine-tune timing, and add easing for smooth transitions.
8- Optional: Apply effects for enhancement.
9- Render the composition.
10- Export the animated result.
